Strawberry Banana Smoothie

To welcome Spring I have started making smoothies in the morning for breakfast. This is my creation for today. All ingredients are Organic.

1/2 cup frozen Peaches
1 Banana
4 Strawberries
1/4 cup frozen Rasberries
1/2 cup Apple Juice
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glass and enjoy.

Health Benefits:
Strawberries contains a high amount of Vitamin C, phytonutrients (phenols) and antioxidants. They are known as a heart-protective fruit as well as having anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.

Bananas are a very good source of vitamin B6 and a good source of vitamin C, dietary fiber, and manganese.
Bananas also contain potassium, an essential mineral for maintaining normal blood pressure, bone health and heart function.

Peaches also have a high level of Vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. Peaches are rich in phytochemicals (phenols), carotenoids and beta-carotene which are good for boosting the immune system and promoting healthy skin.
